Enjoy knitting these adorable Mini Gloves 2, perfect for little hands or as a charming accessory. Let's get started!
20 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Using long tail cast on 24 stitches.
Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 10 rounds.
Switch to stockinette stitch (knit all RS rows, purl all WS rows). Continue until the piece measures 3 inches (7.5 cm).
Kies 4 stitches at the base of the right side, place them on a stitch holder or scrap yarn. Continue working on remaining 20 stitches in stockinette for 6 rounds.
On subsequent rounds, decrease as follows: knit 2 together (k2tog) at the beginning of each of last 4 rounds. When total stitches reduce to 8, proceed to the next step.
Bind off remaining 8 stitches loosely. Graft the top closed using Kitchener stitch. Remove thumb stitches from the holder, pick up 4 stitches around thumb opening, and knit in rounds for 4 rounds to form thumb. Graft or cast off thumb stitches.
Repeat all steps for the second glove.
Weave in all loose ends. Block lightly if desired. Wear and enjoy your charming mini gloves!
