Realistic Knitted Toothless Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn: Worsted weight black yarn (UK: Aran, Metric: 10 ply, 9 wpi)
• Needles: US 6 (UK 8, Metric 4mm) double-pointed needles
• Stuffing
• Black felt for eyes
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Pattern:

Body:

1. Cast on 6 stitches.
2. Divide the stitches evenly across 3 double-pointed needles and join to work in the round.
3. Round 1: Knit all stitches.
4. Round 2: Increase 1 stitch in each stitch around (12 sts).
5. Rounds 3-10: Knit all stitches.
6. Round 11: *K2, kfb* repeat around (16 sts).
7. Rounds 12-25: Knit all stitches.
8. Round 26: *K2, k2tog* repeat around (12 sts).
9. Stuff the body.
10. Round 27: *K1, k2tog* repeat around (8 sts).
11. Round 28: *K2tog* around (4 sts).
12. Cut yarn, thread through remaining stitches, and pull tight to close the opening. Weave in the ends.

Head:

1. Cast on 6 stitches.
2. Divide the stitches evenly across 3 double-pointed needles and join to work in the round.
3. Work Rounds 1-28 same as the Body.
4. Do not close the opening. Stuff the head firmly.

Assembly:

1. Sew the head to the body.
2. Cut small circles from black felt and sew them on for eyes.
3. Weave in any remaining ends.
4. Your knitted Toothless is now complete!
