Teddy Bear with Stetson Pattern

This pattern will guide you through creating a charming 9” teddy bear complete with arms, legs, and a muzzle, topped off with a cute stetson hat. Perfect for gifting or adding to your collection!

Materials:

• DK weight yarn in desired colors
  (Yarn: US - Light Worsted/DK, UK - Double Knit, Metric - 8ply)
• 3.5mm crochet hook
  (US - E/4, UK - 9, Metric - 3.5)
• Stuffing material
• Yarn needle
• Safety eyes
• Black embroidery floss for nose

Instructions:

Body:

Start with a magic ring, work in continuous rounds.

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

R2: 2 sc in each st around (12)

R3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (18)

R4: *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (24)

R5: *sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (30)

R6-15: sc in each st around (30)

Continue to stuff as you go.

Arms (make 2):

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

R2-12: sc in each st around (6)

Stuff lightly and sew onto the sides of the body.

Legs (make 2):

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

R2-15: sc in each st around (6)

Stuff lightly and sew onto the bottom of the body.

Muzzle:

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

R2: 2 sc in each st around (12)

R3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* repeat around (18)

Stuff lightly and sew onto the front of the body.

Stetson:

Using brown yarn, create a flat circle. Decrease evenly around to create a smaller circle for the top of the hat. Sew onto the head of the bear.

Finish off and weave in ends. Add safety eyes and embroider nose. Your adorable teddy bear with a stetson is complete!
