3-6 Month Knitted Bottom Up Pull On Hoodie

Materials
- Needles: US 6 (4mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors.
Gauge
20 stitches x 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles.
Instructions
- Cast on 90 stitches using smaller needles.
- Work in 2x2 ribbing (K2, P2) for 1 inch.
- Switch to larger needles and stockinette stitch. Work even until piece measures 6 inches from cast-on edge.
- Shape armholes: Bind off 6 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Continue in stockinette stitch.
- Shape hood: When piece measures 9 inches from cast-on edge, divide for hood as follows: K30, place marker, K30, place marker, K30.
- Working back and forth on the first set of 30 stitches, continue in stockinette stitch until hood measures 6 inches.
- Join yarn at center neck and work across the second set of 30 stitches in stockinette stitch for 6 inches.
- Join yarn at center neck and work across the last set of 30 stitches in stockinette stitch for 6 inches.
- Join front and back of hood at shoulders using Kitchener stitch or 3-needle bind off.
- Seam sides of body and hood. Sew sleeve seams. Weave in all ends.
Finishing
Add a cute pom-pom or tassel to the top of the hood for a fun finishing touch. Block gently to shape and size.
