Bunny Jumper for 2-Year-Old Kid

Stay warm and adorable with this Bunny Jumper! This pattern is designed for a 2-year-old child and features a cute bunny design on the front.

Materials:

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors - Main color (MC) for the body and Contrasting color (CC) for the bunny details
• US 8 / UK 6 / 5mm knitting needles
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Gauge:

18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Pattern:

1. Front Panel:
   • Using MC, cast on 60 stitches.
   • Work in stockinette stitch for 12 inches.
   • With CC, intarsia knit the bunny design in the center of the panel.
   • Continue in stockinette stitch for another 2 inches.
   • Bind off.
2. Back Panel: (same as Front Panel)
3. Sleeves:
   • Using MC, cast on 30 stitches.
   • Work in stockinette stitch for 8 inches.
   • Decrease 1 stitch at each end every other row until 20 stitches remain.
   • Work straight until sleeve measures 12 inches.
   • Bind off.
4. Assembly:
   • Seam the sides of the front and back panels together.
   • Attach the sleeves to the body.
   • Weave in all ends.
5. Finishing:
   • Block the jumper to measurements.
   • Add eyes and nose to the bunny design using duplicate stitch.
