Bunny Jumper Pattern for 2-Year-Old

Gauge:

18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

1. Front Panel: Cast on 50 stitches.
2. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 10 inches from the cast on edge.
3. Shape Armholes: Bind off 4 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
4. Decrease Row: Knit 1, k2tog, knit to last 3 stitches, k2tog, knit 1.
5. Repeat Decrease Row every 4th row 3 more times.
6. Work even until armhole measures 5 inches from the bound-off stitches.
7. Place the center 18 stitches on a holder for the neck.
8. Work each side separately, decreasing 1 stitch at the neck edge every other row 3 times.
9. Work even until armhole measures same as back.
10. Bind off.
11. Back Panel: Work same as front panel.
12. Sleeves (Make 2): Cast on 24 stitches.

16. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams.

19. Bunny Ears (Make 2): Using crochet hook, make 2 chains of 20 stitches each. Work 5 rows of single crochet, decreasing at each end every row. Sew ears to the top of the jumper.
