Bunny Cable Stitch Fingerless Gloves Pattern

Materials:

• Yarn: Medium weight yarn (Worsted/UK Aran/10 ply), 100g (3.5 oz) in any color of your choice
• Knitting Needles: US 6 (UK 8/4mm) and US 8 (UK 6/5mm) double-pointed knitting needles
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Gauge:

20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch with US 8 needles

Instructions:

Right Hand Glove:

1. Cast on 36 stitches with US 6 needles.
2. Work in K2, P2 ribbing for 2 inches.
3. Switch to US 8 needles and knit in stockinette stitch for 2 inches.
4. Next row (Cable row): *C6F, C6B, repeat from * to end of row.
5. Continue in stockinette stitch until the glove measures 6 inches from the cast on edge.
6. Begin thumb gusset:

Next row: K17, place next 4 stitches on holder, cast on 2 stitches, knit to end of row.

Continue in stockinette stitch until the glove measures 7.5 inches from the cast on edge.

Bind off.

Left Hand Glove:

1. Work as for right hand glove, reversing cable twists for cable row.

Finishing:

Sew the side seams, leaving a gap for the thumb. Weave in all ends.
