Cute Cat Sweater Pattern

This adorable cat sweater will keep you warm and stylish all winter long!

Materials:

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in 4 colors - A (Main Color), B (Contrast Color 1), C (Contrast Color 2), D (Contrast Color 3)
• US Needle Size: 7 / 4.5mm
• UK Old Needle Size: 7
• Metric Needle Size: 4.5mm

Gauge:

20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Size:

One size fits most (adjustable)

Instructions:

1. Using Color A, cast on 100 stitches.
2. Work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 10 inches from cast on edge.
3. Switch to Color B and knit 2 rows.
4. Using Color A, knit 4 rows.
5. Continue alternating colors in stockinette stitch until piece measures 18 inches from cast on edge.
6. Shape armholes by binding off 6 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
7. Continue in pattern until piece measures 24 inches from cast on edge.
8. Shape neck by binding off center 20 stitches and working each side separately.
9. Continue working each side, decreasing 1 stitch at neck edge every other row, until 3 stitches remain.
10. Bind off all stitches.
11. Join yarn at shoulder edge and pick up stitches along armhole.
12. Work in stockinette stitch for 8 inches.
13. Bind off all stitches.
14. Repeat for second armhole.
15. Weave in all ends and block sweater to measurements.
