Chunky Knit Stuffed Pillow Pattern

Materials:

• Chunky wool yarn (Recommended: Super Bulky weight)
• Size 7mm needles (US 10.75, UK 2)
• Tapestry needle
• Pillow stuffing
• Scissors

Gauge:

Approximately 12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Instructions:

1. Cast on 40 stitches.
2. Row 1: Knit all stitches.
3. Row 2: Purl all stitches.
4. Rows 3-8: Repeat Rows 1-2.
5. Begin Cable and Lace Pattern:
   • Rows 9-12: Knit all stitches.
   • Row 13: *Knit 3, purl 1, yarn over, purl 2, yarn over; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
   • Row 14: *Purl 3, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, purl 3.
   • Rows 15-16: Knit all stitches.

6. Continue working Cable and Lace Pattern until desired length.
7. After completing final Cable and Lace Pattern repeat, knit 6 rows in stockinette stitch.
8. Bind off all stitches knitwise.
9. Leave a long tail for seaming.
10. Using the tapestry needle, seam three of the sides together.
11. Stuff the pillow with pillow stuffing to desired fullness.
12. Seam the final side to enclose the stuffing.
13. Weave in ends and trim excess yarn.
