Cosy Cat Jumper Pattern
This adorable jumper is perfect for keeping your fur baby warm and stylish all year round.
Materials
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in your choice of color (200g)
- Needles: US size 8 / UK size 6 / 5mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Gauge
20 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Pattern
Back:
- Cast on 60 sts.
- Work in stockinette stitch for 10 inches.
- Bind off.
Front (with cat face):
- Cast on 60 sts.
- Work in stockinette stitch for 8 inches.
- On the next row, knit 20 sts, place marker, knit 20 sts, place marker, knit remaining 20 sts.
- Continue in stockinette stitch for 4 more rows.
- Begin cat face pattern:
Row 1: Knit until 2 sts before marker, M1, K2, M1, slip marker, K20, slip marker, M1, K2, M1, knit to end.
Row 2: Purl.
Repeat these 2 rows 4 more times.
- Work even in stockinette stitch until piece measures 10 inches from cast on edge.
- Bind off.
Assembly
- Weave in all ends.
- Using tapestry needle, stitch front and back pieces together at the sides.
- Leave space for front legs and tail.
- Try on your cat and adjust leg openings if needed.
