Cozy Pup Dog Sweater
An intermediate-level knitting project using medium yarn. Worked in the round.

5 stitches and 7 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
Notes
- This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down.
- Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge if needed.
Pattern
- Using long tail cast on, cast on 50 (60, 70) stitches.
- Work in rib stitch (k1, p1) for 1.5 inches.
- Switch to stockinette stitch and continue until piece measures half of the chest measurement.
- Shape leg openings by binding off 8 (10, 12) stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
- Continue working in stockinette stitch over the remaining stitches for the back.
- After reaching desired length, divide for the neck opening and work each shoulder separately.
- Work each shoulder until it measures one-third of the neck circumference, then bind off.
- Rejoin yarn at the remaining stitches and work the other shoulder to match.
- Pick up stitches around the leg openings and work in the round in rib stitch for 1 inch.
- Bind off loosely and weave in ends.
- Add any desired embellishments such as buttons or patches.
