Lord of the Rings Inspired Mittens Pattern

These fair isle-style mittens are inspired by the magical world of Lord of the Rings, featuring intricate designs in white and blue colors. Each hand showcases different mini pictures from the epic saga.

Materials

• Yarn: Medium weight yarn in white and blue
  (US: Medium 4, UK: Aran, Metric: 10-ply)
• Knitting Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) and US 6 (4mm)

• Tapestry needle

Gauge

24 stitches x 28 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in Fair Isle pattern with larger needles.

Instructions

Cuff:

1. Using smaller needles and white yarn, cast on 40 stitches. Join in the round being careful not to twist stitches. Work in a K1, P1 rib for 2 inches.
2. Switch to larger needles. Join blue yarn and knit 1 round.
