SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

MATERIALS:
- Worsted weight yarn in Color A (deep red), Color B (dark green), and Color C (blue)
- US 8 / UK 6 / 5 mm knitting needles

GAUGE:
4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) = 16 stitches x 16 rows in stockinette stitch

PATTERN:
Cast on 20 stitches using Color A.

Row 1 (Right Side): 
Knit 4 stitches in Color A, knit 4 stitches in Color B, knit 4 stitches in Color C, knit 4 stitches in Color A, repeat until the end of the row.

Row 2 (Wrong Side):
Purl all stitches following the same color sequence as Row 1. 

Row 3: 
Knit 4 stitches in Color A, knit 4 stitches in Color C, knit 4 stitches in Color B, knit 4 stitches in Color A, repeat until the end of the row.

Row 4:
Purl all stitches following the same color sequence as Row 3.

Repeat Rows 1-4 until your work measures 4” (10 cm) from the cast-on edge, ending with Row 4.

Bind off all stitches in pattern.

FINISHING:
Weave in loose ends and block your swatch to measurements.
