Knitted TARDIS Phone Pouch Pattern

Blue Worsted Weight Yarn
- Black Worsted Weight Yarn
- White Worsted Weight Yarn
- Tapestry needle

Gauge
20 stitches x 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Pattern
- Using blue yarn, cast on 40 stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) for 10 inches.
- On the next row, knit 15, bind off 10 stitches for the phone screen, knit the remaining 15 stitches.
- Work each side separately. Bind off 1 stitch at the beginning of each row for 10 rows on the phone screen side.
- Next row, bind off 3 stitches at the beginning of the phone screen side, continue knitting across.
- Continue working in stockinette stitch for 15 rows.
- Cast on 10 stitches at the beginning of the next row to create the top of the TARDIS.
- Work in garter stitch (knit every row) for 5 rows.
- Switch to white yarn and work 3 rows in garter stitch.
- Switch back to blue yarn and work 3 rows in garter stitch.
- Bind off all stitches. Fold the piece in half and sew the side seams.
- Using black yarn, embroider windows and details on the pouch.
- Attach a button to the front for closure.
- Weave in any loose ends and trim excess yarn.
- Your TARDIS phone pouch is ready to use!
