Pattern

1. Using Color A, cast on 40 stitches.
2. Knit 2 rows for the bottom border.
3. Switch to Color B and knit 4 rows.
4. Switch to Color A and knit 10 rows.
5. Continue in Stockinette stitch, changing colors as follows: 6 rows Color B, 8 rows Color C, 6 rows Color B, 8 rows Color A, 6 rows Color B.
6. Shape the sailboat by decreasing 1 stitch at the beginning and end of every knit row until 4 stitches remain.
7. Knit 1 row even, then bind off.
8. Sew in all yarn ends and block to shape.
